Abstract

This research examines the financial literacy and personal financial management practices of the service sector workers of Aizawl, Mizoram. The groups covered include government employees, private sector employees, small business owners and self-employed workers. A structured questionnaire which evaluates financial literacy and personal financial management
practices, such as periodic savings, health and life insurance holding, and pension scheme enrolment was employed for collecting primary data.
