Bacterial contamination of in vitro cultures of date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is the major constraint to their initiation and
multiplication. The molecular identification is a rapid and reliable procedure to identify date palm bacterial contaminants which is
very important in their control and treatment. Samples of Bacteria isolated from date palm cultures were collected to isolate each
bacteria and extraction of genomic DNA. PCR amplification of the16S rRNA gene from bacterial isolate was conducted using the
universal primers: 27F and 1492R. The results of molecular diagnosis using PCR technology for bacterial isolates showed that the
sequence of nitrogenous bases of 16rRNA confirmed the results of the nucleotide sequence analysis of bacterial isolates as isolates
belonging to bacteria
