Abstract

The primary standardization studies are the basic and gives evidence of the raw drugs. It includes crude drug macroscopic, microscopic as well as identity of herbal drugs. Quality controls of herbal drugs remain most imperative and effective. In this current study we studied standardization parameter such as morphological, microscopically, physicochemical, and phytochemical evaluation of zingiber officinale roscoe family zingiberaceae. The study revealed that rhizomes were found light brown to reddish brown with characteristic aroma, astringent taste, hard texture and splintery fracture. T.S.
