Introduction: Volleyball and basketball are two popular sports that require unique combinations of technical, tactical, and physical attributes. Understanding the anthropometric and physiological characteristics of university level players can inform training programs and talent identification.
Objectives: This study aimed to compare the anthropometric and physiological profiles of male university volleyball and basketball players, and to identify significant differences between the two groups. Methodology: A cross-sectional design was employed, incorporating a battery of anthropometric (body composition, limb lengths, and circumferences) and physiological (cardiorespiratory and hematological) measurements.
