Background: Pediatric hemophilia care has moved from episodic rescue toward sustained bleed prevention, yet the growing number of factor and non-factor options has made treatment selection more complex. The clinically relevant question is no longer whether prophylaxis is needed, but how to match a hemostatic strategy to a child’s biology, developmental stage, daily activity, family capacity, and local resources.
