Abstract

Background: Multiple myeloma is a clonal plasma cell malignancy characterized by bone marrow infiltration, monoclonal protein production, skeletal destruction, renal impairment, anemia, immune dysfunction, and recurrent relapse. Although advances in proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory agents, monoclonal antibodies, autologous stem cell transplantation, bispecific antibodies, and chimeric antigen receptor  T-cell therapy have substantially improved survival, clinical outcomes remain heterogeneous
