Abstract

Backe ground: Diabetes mellitus, commonly known as diabetes, is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by high blood sugar level (hyperglycaemia) over a prolonged period of time.  estimated that  diabetes resulted in 4.0 million deaths worldwide, using modeling to estimate the total number of deaths that could be directly or indirectly attributed to diabetes Diabetes mellitus is diagnosed with a test for the glucose content in the blood, and is diagnosed by demonstrating any one of the following Fasting plasma glucose level ≥ 7.0 mmol/L (126 mg/dL).
