CONSTRUCTION AND METRIC PROPERTIES OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE ON THE PERCEPTION OF PERSONAL FACTORS INFLUENCING CRITICAL THINKING. PILOT QUESTIONNAIRE

Type of study: survey study. Objective: the elaboration of a pilot questionnaire and the measurement of the metric properties to measure the perception of the factors that influence the critical thinking. Method: for the construction of the questionnaire, we used the issues that Alfaro-LeFevre proposes to assess critical thinking potential, within the preparation phase, a table of specifications was elaborated as a previous script on which the questionnaire was developed, which served as a guideline for validation. Subsequently, the expert consultation the INFLESZ test for the evaluation of the readability of a text and the analysis of reliability was followed. Results: consultation with the experts allowed a provisional questionnaire consisting of three dimensions and a total of 10 items. The validation of Flesch's RES formula on the readability and comprehension of the text of the questionnaire on the perception of factors influencing critical thinking in a Flesch-Szigriszt showed an index of 75.85. The questionnaire on the perception of fac-tors influencing critical thinking has a considerable consistency, in the Cronbach α was 0.70. Conclusions: the questionnaire of the search for a valid, reliable, useful and agile instrument to measure the perception of the factors that influence critical thinking. Limitations: being a pilot questionnaire, metrical properties should be checked with a bigger sample of students and the construct validity should be studied in depth.
