Abstract

Introduction:
Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have garnered significant attention due to their potent antimicrobial properties and a broad range of biomedical applications. However, conventional synthesis methods frequently involve the use of toxic chemicals, raising significant environmental and health concerns. Green synthesis using plant extracts has emerged as an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative. In this study, we employ Clary sage (Salvia sclarea) extract for the biosynthesis of AgNPs, leveraging on its rich phytochemical composition to stabilize and reduce silver ions.
