Abstract

Purpose:  
Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) are evolving at a rapid pace, necessitating the development of safe and effective communication frameworks to facilitate interactions between vehicles and infrastructure. In order to ensure data integrity, transparency, and resistance to malicious activity, this article proposes a blockchain-enabled framework for safe and decentralized communication in V2V and V2I systems. The suggested design uses blockchain technology to carry out smart contract execution 
for automated decision-making, securely store important data, and authenticate transactions.
