Abstract

 This work performs a review of the different aspects related with pain and inflammatory process, emphasizing nervous system involving on maintaining pain and the proposals for pain control mechanisms. The authors propose that a thorough examination is a pre-requirement to obtain satisfactory therapeutic results.
