Abstract

The impact of the use of mobile phone touchscreen devices (MTSD) in Makassar City on parent-child interactions and their implications for children's social development. The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on childcare practices, where touchscreen devices are now an inseparable part of family life. This study aims to understand
how the use of MTSD affects patterns of interaction, communication, and parenting strategies for them.
