In this work, bacterial colonies from the gut of Cirrhinus mrigala were isolated. The colonies were inspected
as Leuconostoc mensenteroids, Lactobacillus pentasus, Lactobacillus amylophilus, Staphylococcus waneri,
Lactobacillus paracesei, Lactobacillus gasseri and Lactobacillus colini all bacterial strains by biochemical
characterization, 16s rRNA sequencing. Enzyme productivity also examined. The inhibitory activity of gut
bacteria was tested against pathogens such as Staphylococcus aures, Enterococcus faecalis,
Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and Pseudomonas aeroginosa compared with commercial antibiotic
Streptomycin. Different experimental feeds were prepared such as Feed I (control no bacteria), Feed II (1ml
of Lactobacillus amylophilus), Feed III (1 ml of each Lactobacillus amylophilus and Leuconostoc
mesenteroides), Feed IV (1ml of each Lactobacillus amylophilus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides and
Lactobacillus colinoids), and Feed V (1 ml of each Lactobacillus amylophilus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides,
Lactobacillus colinoids and Lactobacillus gasseri).
