Abstract

AKI is reduction in kidney function, including decreased GFR and kidney failure . Acute renal failure
develops rapidly over a few hours or days which may be fatal. It's most common in those who are critically
ill and already hospitalised. In Indian states over all 3-7 % cases are contributed by PRAKI (Pregnancyrelated acute kidney injury )
