Medicinal plants are crucial to the creation of powerful therapeutic substances. As a source of several useful secondary metabolites that act as plant defence mechanisms against predators including microorganisms, insects, and herbivores—compounds that have been shown to have potential for actionplant-based medications make an exceptional addition to contemporary treatments. The
microorganism's resistance to antibiotics, or, to put it another way, the short effective life span of any antibiotic, has led to a huge surge in the hunt for antimicrobial plant extracts.
