Abstract

This study delves into the fabrication process of a novel restorative dental material by incorporating
graphene oxide (GO) into acetylated bisphenol A-glycidyl methacrylate (BisGMA). Graphene oxide, a
two-dimensional carbon-based nanomaterial, is integrated into the BisGMA resin matrix to enhance the
mechanical, physical, and antibacterial properties of the restorative material.(1) The synthesis involves
dispersing GO within the acetylated BisGMA resin to form a composite with improved structural integrity
and mechanical strength
