Abstract

Background: Distal radius fractures in younger patients are most often due to high-energy trauma.
For long-term clinical outcomes, open reduction and stable fixationis the preferred treatment option
for intraarticular displaced fractures. Objective: The present study aimed to evaluate the clinical
outcome and radiological results of open reduction internal fixation of intraarticular distal radius
fractures using fragment specific fixation principles
