Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has been a growing health burden worldwide.
Aim: To evaluate 25 (OH) vit D levels in non-dialysis CKD patients and investigate if this deficiency
independently correlates with lower hemoglobin levels.
Subjects and methods: This was a cross-sectional study performed on 90 subjects at outpatient clinic of BeniSuef University hospital & outpatient clinic at EL Galaa military hospital, from August 2020 till the patients
were collected.
