Abstract

This study examines the provision and management of shelter services for survivors of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) in Arba Minch and Chencha, Ethiopia, with a focus on government responsibility, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and alignment with human rights frameworks. Adopting a qualitative approach guided by Creswell’s framework, this research uses a case study design, drawing on observations, interviews, and document analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of these shelters.
