The purpose of this research is to determine how the postures affect the efficacy of isometric handgrip exercises and slow deep breathing exercises to address mild hypertension on women of 40-60 years. The subjects were randomly split into three groups: Group A – performed isometric handgrip exercises – seated position, Group B – isometric handgrip exercises –supine lying
position and Group C – slow deep breathing – standing up position. For five weeks, such parameters as blood pressure, pulse, grip strength, and the quality of life were monitored.
