Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a significant transformation in India's higher education landscape by advocating for holistic and multidisciplinary education. This research article evaluates the policy's objectives, implementation strategies, challenges, and opportunities in fostering an inclusive and flexible academic framework. NEP 2020 aims to break disciplinary
silos by promoting cross-disciplinary learning, flexibility in curricula, and skill-based education. It emphasizes the integration of liberal arts, sciences, and vocational training to nurture wellrounded graduates prepared for global challenges.
