Borderline oligohydramnios always produce a dilemma of management and counseling
among obstetricians. The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of L-arginine alone
against sildenafil citrate on pregnancy outcomes and the improvement of AFI in pregnant women
with idiopathic borderline oligohydramniosis. A well-known obstetric issue linked to fetal morbidity
and death as well as surgical interferences is oligohydramnios. It has been proposed that giving
sildenafil citrate to oligohydramnios will increase their amniotic fluid index (AFI).
