The characteristics of atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJs) are of significant
importance when used in various applications such as medicine, industry, and agriculture. In
this work, a plasma tube was fabricated using poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA) with specific
geometrical dimensions to generate argon plasma jets. The generated plasma temperature was
measured, and its relationship with the applied voltage was studied. Additionally, the effect of
plasma with varying gas flow rates was investigated. The variation in plasma temperature over
time was also analyzed, along with the relationship between the plasma column length and the
gas flow rate.
