Abstract

This essay delves into how data analytics and business intelligence initiatives in pre-competitive spaces can support innovation processes within both the biotechnology and healthcare ecosystems. It is acknowledged that these analyses span a wide variety of knowledge production. However, when so much research creates marginal improvements for a small percentage of the population, relatively little attention has been given to how innovation could be powerfully applied to transform patient outcomes.
