Background: Chronic kidney disease patients under hemodialysis and their association with oral health changes have been reported in many studies. Patients who have CKD will have an alteration in the calcium and Vitamin D homeostasis which can show alterations in osteoblastic-osteoclastic mechanisms which can also affect the maxillofacial region.
