Abstract

This paper investigated the lived experiences of parents with special needs children using the phenomenological qualitative research approach. Ten parents of children with special needs from Mambusao Elementary School Mambusao, Capiz, Philippines were chosen as informants of the study based on the children with special needs enrolled at MES. The data were gathered through interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire. To delve deeper into their personal experiences as parents with SN children. Colaizzi’z method was used to collect, record, and analyze data.
