Introduction: Tobacco use has been unequivocally linked to various adverse health outcomes. It is a leading cause of preventable diseases, including lung cancer, COPD, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory infections. The primary psychoactive substance in tobacco is nicotine, a highly addictive compound that stimulates the release of dopamine in the brain, leading to feelings of pleasure and reinforcement of the tobacco use behavior. The addictive nature of nicotine makes smoking cessation challenging for many individuals, as they often experience withdrawal symptoms and cravings upon quitting
