Background: Nail biting is one of the most prevalent oral habits, and commonly observed in school age children. Aim of the study: was to evaluate the impact of Pender's health promotion intervention on nail biting among school age kids and their mothers. Research design: A quasi-experimental design has been utilized. Setting: this research has been performed in El-Naseria primary school at El-Zohor and Kafr Mohammed Hussein primary school in Zagazig city Al-sharkia governorate, Egypt.
