Abstract

Centella asiatica is a herb with various medicinal properties used in ayurveda for thousands of years. It is a perennial creeper plant which belongs to the family Apiaceae. It is used in the treatment of lupus, leprosy and related skin diseases. Each and every part of the plant can be used in the production of medicines.
