Abstract

The study examines the determinants of dividend policy and the impact of retained earnings on the performance of the top 10 finance companies over the past two years. It highlights the importance of dividend policy in enhancing shareholder value and company performance. Using quantitative methods, the research analyses the relationship between retained earnings, business performance, and various dividend policy factors such as taxation, growth prospects, company size, ROCE, debt levels, EPS, cash flow, and EBIT.
