Traditional treatments have little success in alleviating the symptoms of chronic inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and cardiovascular disorders, which pose serious challenges to public health. The biocompatibility, environmentally friendly manufacturing, and possible bioactivities of phyto-based silver nanoparticles have made them an attractive option in recent years. The ability of silver nanoparticles made from plant extracts that are abundant in polyphenols, flavonoids, and
other bioactive chemicals to reduce inflammation and act as antioxidants is the focus of this research.
