Submission Guidelines for Cuestiones de Fisioterapia
1. Aims and Scope
- "Cuestiones de Fisioterapia" is dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in physical therapy. We welcome original research, reviews, case studies, and clinical studies in the field of physiotherapy and related disciplines.
2. Manuscript Types Accepted
- Original Research: Detailed studies reporting original research findings.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of specific topics in physiotherapy.
- Case Studies: Documentation of treatments and patient outcomes that offer significant contributions to knowledge.
- Clinical Trials: Reports on pre-registered clinical trials.
- Short Communications: Brief reports of data from original research.
- Letters to the Editor: Comments on recent articles published in the journal.
3. General Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts should be submitted in English.
- All submissions must be original work, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Submissions should adhere to the ethical guidelines applicable to research and publication in the field of physiotherapy.
- Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
4. Manuscript Preparation
- Title Page: Includes the title, authors' names and affiliations, and a corresponding author's contact information.
- Abstract: No more than 250 words, structured with the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
- Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords for indexing purposes.
- Text Organization: Manuscripts should be organized into Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.
- References: Format according to the latest edition of the APA style.
- Figures and Tables: Should be placed within the text at appropriate points.
- Supplementary Materials: Can be submitted to support the manuscript but will be published online only.
5. Formatting Requirements
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- Use a standard, easily readable font, such as 12-point Times New Roman.
- Text should be double-spaced; this includes references and notes.
- Margins should be at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
6. Peer Review Process
- All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review where both the reviewers and authors are anonymized to each other.
- Reviewers will assess the manuscript for originality, significance, quality of research, clarity of presentation, and adherence to the journal’s focus and standards.
7. Open Access and Licensing
- Upon acceptance, articles will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share, copy, distribute, and transmit the work, provided the original work and source are properly cited.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- Please note that as an open-access journal, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to cover the costs of the review and publication process. Detailed information about APC rates is available on the journal's website.
9. Submission Procedure
