Abstract

Sport is a fundamental element for the people with major Physical disabilities during their rehabilitation process.

The Intrahospital physical activities aren't only the daily physiotherapy and occupational therapy exercises, but the patients need other therapeutic elements with other benefits (physical and psychological).

When the patient returns to daily activities outside the hospital, we stimulate them to continue doing different exercises to be healthy and fit, but if the people from the hospital can see in the patient qualities or attributes to practice sport, we learn and introduce in a competition sport with associations or clubs.

The main goal of the sport for the people with major physical disabilities is to obtain abilities and deftly for the daily practice and obtain a good healthy level and social integration.
