SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION OF THE JOURNAL CUESTIONES DE FISIOTERAPIA (1995-2000)

Objective: To evaluate the productivity of Cuestiones de Fisioterapia journal in the period ranging from the years 1995 to 2000.
Material and methods: A total of 134 articles are analyzed, involving 214 authors and 442 signatures. Production in relationship to the regional communities, per author, per institution, collaboration level between authors, collaboration index and transiency index were determined.
Results: University of Sevilla has the greatest productivity. 62.15 % of the articles were written by one author and 87.4 % of the authors are small producers, there are no large producers. The greatest part of authors is university staff. The collaboration index in the evaluated period is 3.3.
