Abstract

Human hand evolution is a really fascinating topic for those attracted to understand human development; and especially for physiotherapists, who consider our hands an instrument to work.
  We believe that studying the origin and evolution of human hand proportions give us, together with culture and knowledge, the opportunity to understand the perfection and abilities of this organ, that in an intimate relationship with the brain represents the most exceptional expression of human intelligence.
