Abstract

Background: Vitiligo is a chronic depigmenting disorder characterized by the selective destruction of melanocytes, leading to well
demarcated depigmented macules that significantly impact patients’ psychosocial well-being. While medical therapies remain the first-line approach, their efficacy is often limited in stable disease, necessitating surgical interventions. Among these, autologous non-cultured melanocyte–keratinocyte transplantation (NC-MKT) has emerged as a well-established, minimally invasive, and effective techniquefor  inducing repigmentation in stable vitiligo. The success of NC-MKT depends on multiple factors
