Abstract

Background:  ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) remains one of the leading causes of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality worldwide despite substantial advances in prevention, diagnosis, and reperfusion therapies. Significant regional variations exist in STEMI epidemiology, risk factor profiles, clinical presentation, treatment strategies, and outcomes. Egypt, as the most populous country in  the Middle East and North Africa region, faces a substantial burden of cardiovascular disease
