Abstract

Background: Femoral neck fractures represent a major public health concern, particularly among elderly osteoporotic patients, due to their association with high morbidity, mortality, and socioeconomic burden. Osteoporosis compromises bone quality, making internal fixation unreliable and increasing the risk of fixation failure, nonunion, and reoperation. Arthroplasty has therefore become the preferred treatment for displaced femoral neck fractures in this population. Among available options
