Abstract

Human lysyl oxidase-like 2 (hLOXL2) is a copper-dependent enzyme that catalyzes oxidative deamination of lysine residues inextracellular matrix (ECM) proteins. Dysregulated LOXL2 activity is linked with pathological fibrosis, tumor progression and metastasis, and abnormal tissue remodeling.
