Abstract

Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, primarily driven by dyslipidemia and complex gene–environment interactions influencing lipid metabolism. The angiopoietin-like 3 (ANGPTL3) and apolipoprotein B (APOB) genes are central regulators of plasma lipid homeostasis and lipoprotein assembly, respectively. ANGPTL3 modulates lipoprotein lipase and endothelial lipase activity
