Abstract

Background: The global prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) continues to rise, with a substantial proportion of cases remaining undiagnosed, particularly among adults living with obesity. Early detection of silent hyperglycemia is essential to prevent microvascular and macrovascular complications and to reduce long-term healthcare burdens.
