The KAP model is widely used to assess the understanding (Knowledge), perception (Attitude), and application (Practice) of a particular procedure among individuals. Several studies have assessed the KAP of dental students on topics like cavity preparation, restorative material selection, and infection control (Khan et al., 2019; Patel et al., 2017).
