Abstract

This study looked at how well a polyherbal vaginal gel fights vaginal cancer caused by 7,12dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA) in Wistar rats. The gel was made from extracts of Curcuma longa (turmeric), Aloe vera, Azadirachta indica (neem), and several other traditional herbs. After tumors formed, the gel was applied directly to the vagina.
