Safe injection practices are critical components of infection prevention and patient safety in healthcare settings. These practices aim to minimize the risk of transmission of infectious diseases such as hepatitis B. hepatitis C, and HIV, as well as prevent injection- elated complications. The core principles of safe injection practices include the use of sterile equipment, proper hand hygiene, correct disposal of sharps, and avoidance of medication contamination through reuse or improper handling. Implementing and monitoring safe injection protocols significantly reduces healthcare-associated infections and enhances the overall quality of care
