Abstract

The acute phase of sepsis is often accompanied by sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE), which is highly associated with increased mortality. This work aimed to to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of Transcranial Doppler (TCD) in assessing cerebral perfusion changes in septic patients and to determine its prognostic value in the outcome of these patients.
