Comparison of the Efficacy of Non-Surgical Treatment by Caudal Epidural Injection versus Oral Prostaglandin E1 Analogue for Management of Lumbar Canal Stenosis

Background: degenerative changes in the spinal canal of the lower back lead to a narrowing condition known as lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). Lumbar canal stenosis non-surgical therapy options, including caudal epidural injection and oral Prostaglandin E1 analogue, were the focus of this research. Methods: This randomized clinical trial was conducted on 60 patients with lumbar canal stenosis attending to orthopedic clinic Benha university hospital and Nile Health Insurance Hospital. They were divided into 2 equal groups: Group A treated by caudal epidural injection and Group B treated by oral Prostaglandin E1.
