Abstract

Chlorpyrifos, an organophosphate insecticide, is widely used in agriculture but poses significant ecological risks to non-target organisms, including aquatic species. This study investigates the toxicity of chlorpyrifos on the histopathology of the hepatopancreas in the freshwater crab Barytelphusa cunicularis, a species commonly found in aquatic ecosystems.
