Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between intuitive eating behavior and cortisol hormone levels and body mass index (BMI) in university students in terms of some variables. The study was conducted on 150 university students (75 female, 75 male) of different genders who did not have any health problems and were studying at Bayburt University Faculty of Health Sciences Participants filled out the demographic data questionnaire and Intuitive Eating Scale-2 (IES-2) during a face-to-face interview. Cortisol hormone levels were examined in saliva samples taken from students participating in the study using the ELISA technique.
