Abstract

Background: There is still rising worry about the long-term effects of COVID-19 on cardiovascular and lung health.
This study examined post-COVID-19 cardiovascular and pulmonary consequences in recovered patients.
Methods: We investigated the medical records of 100 patients who recovered from COVID-19 in Peshawar, KPK, Pakistan. Pulmonary tests included spirometry, diffusion capacity, and high-resolution computed tomography. A 6minute walk test, biomarker analysis, echocardiography, and electrocardiograms (ECGs) were all used in the cardiovascular examinations. To evaluate the relationships between clinical indicators and post-COVID-19 problems, statistical analyses were conducted.
