A field experiment was conducted during the spring season of the year (2024) in an agricultural land in the Abu Luka area - Al-Musayyab District - at latitude (44) and longitude (32), which is about 40 km away from Babylon province, with the aim of knowing the response of three sorghum cultivars to planting distances and spraying ethephon on some growth and yield traits of sorghum. The experiment was implemented according to a complete randomized block design with split-plot arrangement and three
